IF

Returns one value if a condition is TRUE and another if it is FALSE.

Syntax

=IF(logical_test, value_if_true, [value_if_false])

Arguments

• logical_test: A condition that is TRUE or FALSE, e.g. B2>=50.
• value_if_true: What to return when the test is TRUE.
• value_if_false (optional): What to return when the test is FALSE (default FALSE).

Example

=IF(B2>=50, "Pass", "Fail") → "Pass" or "Fail"
