SUMIF

Adds the cells that meet one condition.

Syntax

=SUMIF(range, criteria, [sum_range])

Arguments

• range: The cells to test.
• criteria: The condition, such as ">100", "Apples" or a cell reference.
• sum_range (optional): The cells to add. Leave out to add the tested cells.

Example

=SUMIF(A2:A9, "East", C2:C9) → Sales for the East region
