INDEX

The value at a given row and column of a range.

Syntax

=INDEX(array, row_num, [column_num])

Arguments

• array: The range.
• row_num: Row position within the range (0 = whole column).
• column_num (optional): Column position within the range.

Example

=INDEX(A2:C10, 3, 2) → Row 3, column 2 of the range
