CEILING.MATH

Rounds a number up to the nearest multiple; mode rounds negative numbers away from zero.

Syntax

=CEILING.MATH(number, [significance], [mode])

Arguments

• number: The number to use.
• significance (optional): The multiple to round to (default 1; its sign is ignored).
• mode (optional): For negative numbers: 0 rounds toward zero, anything else away from it.

Example

=CEILING.MATH(-5.5, 2, -1) → -6
